14 November 2013 310A I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident after the second last hurdle involving The Job Is Right (GB), ridden by B.J. Geraghty, placed first, Unic De Bersy (FR), ridden by D.N. Russell, placed second and Gort An Chnoic, ridden by A.P. Heskin, placed third, where it appeared that Gort An Chnoic suffered some interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.N.Russell was in breach of Rule 214, having ridden carelessly and after considering his record, suspended him for two race days.

John E. Kiely, trainer of Lukes Hill, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was lame post race.

310C Clonmel Oil Service Station H'cap H'dle

R. Walsh, rider of Sarabad (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount raced freely and made a respiratory noise in running.

310E EBF T.A.Morris Memorial (Mares) S'chase

B.J. Geraghty, rider of Caoimhe's Delight trained by Sean O. O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Caoimhe's Delight, trained by Sean O. O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal(samples taken for analysis.)The trainer subsequently reported that his charge was found to have brown mucous following an endoscopic examination indicating a burst blood vessel. .
